Zelensky Withdraws Ambassadors from Georgia and Kyrgyzstan

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced the withdrawal of his country's ambassadors from Georgia and Kyrgyzstan. This information was reported by RIA Novosti.

“We are immediately recalling the ambassador from Georgia for an immoral stance on sanctions,” Zelensky said in his video address. Earlier, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili stated that the country would not join the financial and economic sanctions imposed by the West against Russia.

“Our diplomats are currently making fair and absolutely necessary decisions regarding countries that have violated their commitments and international law. We are urgently recalling the ambassador from Kyrgyzstan for justifying aggression against Ukraine,” he added.

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, during a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, claimed that Kyiv was responsible for the breakdown of the Minsk agreements and expressed support for Russia’s decisive actions towards the peaceful population of Donbas.
