Three Individuals Sought in the Murder of 35-Year-Old Man in Gyumri, Two of Whom are Brothers
Details surrounding the murder of V. Harutyunyan, a resident of Gyumri, on February 27 have been revealed.
According to shamshyan.com, extensive operational-search measures and investigative actions have led to the identification of three individuals involved in the incident: 28-year-old Ashot Trdatyan, 25-year-old Karen Trdatyan, and 30-year-old Hrach Malxasyan. Reports indicate that at approximately 01:00 on that day, the three attacked V. Harutyunyan during a conflict, during which H. Malxasyan fatally stabbed him.
Police and investigators in the Shirak region are conducting necessary operational investigative measures to locate the suspects, A. and K. Trdatyan, as well as H. Malxasyan, and to recover the knife used in the crime.
It has been reported that A. and K. Trdatyan are biological brothers. Earlier, it was reported that a murder occurred in the Shirak region on February 27. At around 01:05, the Gyumri emergency call center informed the Kumayri police that a medical team had transported a stabbing victim to the Gyumri Medical Center.
Medical staff informed the police and investigators that the injured man had been admitted with a diagnosis of “stab wound to the upper third of the right thigh, biological death.” The deceased was identified as 35-year-old Vahagn Harutyunyan, a resident of Gyumri. Blood-like traces were discovered by police at the scene in front of 100 Tigranyan Street.
