Air Raid Alert Declared in Lviv: Threat of Attack

The mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyi, announced on his Facebook page that an air raid alert has been declared in the city.

“Attention, there is an air raid signal. It is important to listen to the alert. Turn on the media and follow the instructions,” he noted.

Sadovyi emphasized that the sound of the alert always means that one of the information channels should be immediately turned on to listen to the directives. In this case, the number of alert signals and their duration do not matter.

“You must remain in the shelter until official channels announce that the danger has passed; only then can you leave the shelter,” the mayor wrote.
