Zelensky Presents Universal Mobilization Bill to Parliament

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has presented a bill on universal mobilization to the Rada. This was reported by TASS, referencing the website of the Ukrainian parliament.

"A draft law confirming the President of Ukraine's decree on general mobilization has been submitted to the Supreme Rada," the statement reads.

On Thursday morning, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided to launch a special military operation against Ukraine. In a televised address to Russians, he stated that the circumstances "require decisive and immediate action, as the popular republics of Donbas have requested assistance from Russia."
