Armenian Ambassador in Ukraine Discusses Evacuation of Armenians Living in Ukraine

The Armenian Embassy in Ukraine is in intense communication with Armenian citizens located there. This was stated by the Armenian Ambassador to Ukraine, Vladimir Karapetyan, in an interview with "Factinfo."

“We are working at a normal pace but are in more intense and constant contact with our citizens,” the ambassador stated.

When asked whether the question of evacuating Armenians living in Ukraine is under discussion, Karapetyan replied: “In cases where people contact us, we guide them, advise them, and provide recommendations on how they can meet their needs.”

It is important to note that today the situation has sharply escalated at the Russian-Ukrainian border. Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of a special military operation early this morning. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has also declared a state of emergency throughout Ukraine and announced the severance of diplomatic relations with Russia.
