«I Have Bad News for the Azerbaijani Authorities»: Arman Tatoyan

The Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, whose term ends today, does not see himself in the state system at this moment. He made this statement during a press conference summarizing his work.

“I see myself engaged in other activities. I will be undertaking public initiatives. I have very bad news for the Azerbaijani authorities. I know that they are monitoring this situation, and their representatives were still here, if they haven't left yet. I want them to convey to their higher authorities that the Armenian Human Rights Defender, Arman Tatoyan, will not stop his public activities, especially regarding Azerbaijani violations. We will continue to highlight their violations and war crimes. So, they don't have much to celebrate in that regard,” said Arman Tatoyan, adding that it is important for him that during his tenure, he has brought to light issues, studies, and questions that pose serious external threats, which are a significant problem for our country's and our people's security.
