Chief of General Staff Artak Davtyan to be Dismissed Soon

According to reports, within the next hour, Chief of the General Staff (GSH) Artak Davtyan will be relieved of his duties. This information was reported by the news outlet 168.am.

“Nikol Pashinyan will be heading to the Ministry of Defense shortly. Among the candidates being discussed to replace Artak Davtyan in the GSH position is the Deputy Chief of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Arakel Martikyan. He is one of the generals who did not sign the GSH statement demanding Nikol Pashinyan’s resignation,” the news outlet stated.
