Video: Tension Outside the Sports and Concert Complex

Tension is high outside the Sports and Concert Complex. Participants of a protest against the Azerbaijani delegation attempted to enter the building where the Euronest PA session is taking place.

One of the protesters, who participated in both the April and the 44-day wars, stated that his grievance is against those who brought the Turks here. “The EU has come, tell them to bring back our prisoners. They talk about democracy, but where is the democratic world, where are our prisoners?” he addressed the police.

The protesters declared, “Is there no man among the police? They will come to slaughter us all, they will sell our organs.”

“Aliyev said they would come by bus and enter, they have entered. Clear the way. Guys, look at these hands, look at these broken hands, they will break your hands. Clear my way. I’m going inside. This is my protected country,” said a protester, to which the police replied that they would not clear the way and urged them not to engage in provocative actions.

A dispute began between the police and the protesters.
