Ruling Party Rejects Angela Nalbandyan's Candidacy for Yerevan Radio and Television Commission

The National Assembly's Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport has issued a negative conclusion regarding the candidacy of Angela Nalbandyan, Deputy Director of Para.tv, for the vacant position on the Yerevan Radio and Television Commission.

Her nomination was put forward by the 'Armenia' faction. The question was put to a vote, but members of the ruling Civil Contract party voted against her candidacy. It is also noteworthy that the Civil Contract faction had submitted the nominations of former 'My Step' faction member Arthur Manukyan and poet Hakob Movses for the two vacant positions on the Commission, both of whom were elected solely based on the votes of the ruling party.
