Abduction, Sexual Relations with a Minor: 76 Crimes Solved in One Day
According to summaries of operational reports from the police, from February 21 to 22, police units have solved 76 crime cases, including 9 that occurred previously. This was announced by the Public Relations Department of the Republic of Armenia Police.
Specifically, among the cases resolved were: 16 for theft of personal property, 14 for drug discovery, 11 for fraud, 4 for domestic violence, and 3 cases each for bodily harm, residential burglary, confiscation of weapons and ammunition, and threats of murder. Additionally, 2 cases were related to embezzlement or misappropriation and serious insult, with 1 case each for abduction, illegal logging, abuse of official powers, sexual relations with a minor, false reporting of terrorism, and illegal cutting or transportation of trees and shrubs.
One missing person was found, and 5 suspects were wanted. Two wanted individuals voluntarily presented themselves.
There were also 3 cases of voluntary surrender of weapons and ammunition.
Among the previously committed crimes resolved were: 5 for theft of personal property, and 1 each for residential burglary and cruelty towards animals. During the past day, there were 7 traffic accidents reported in the republic, resulting in varying degrees of bodily injuries to 8 people.
