Updated Coronavirus Disease Data Today

In Armenia, the number of individuals infected with the coronavirus has increased by 293 in the past day, bringing the total to 415,757. This information is provided by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia. Currently, 13,749 people are receiving treatment, and a total of 2,864,871 tests have been conducted (+3192), with 392,080 recovered from the infection (+1474).

The total number of fatalities due to the virus has risen by 16 over the last day, totaling 8,338. The number of individuals who were infected with the coronavirus but died from other causes stands at 1,590. It is worth noting that a state of emergency was declared in Armenia starting March 16, 2020, which was extended several times and lasted until September 11. The extended state of emergency underwent certain modifications. Many economic activities were permitted, but mandatory requirements were established. Wearing masks in public outdoor spaces was mandatory. Only children under 6 years old, cyclists, those exercising, and individuals with chronic respiratory diseases and heart failure were exempt from wearing masks.
