Putin Announces Start of Exercises with Ballistic Missiles
Russian President Vladimir Putin has launched strategic deterrent force exercises involving ballistic missile launches. This information was shared with RIA Novosti by the press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov.
President Putin is monitoring the launch of ballistic missiles from a situational center alongside his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the exercises involve the Aerospace Forces, the Southern Military District, strategic missile forces, and the Northern and Black Sea fleets. The exercises are designed to assess the level of military command, combat readiness of units and personnel, as well as the reliability of the arsenals of strategic nuclear and non-nuclear forces.
