Kamala Harris on Serious Sanctions Against Russia

The Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris, has announced that NATO members are preparing serious sanctions against Russia. She spoke about this during the Munich Security Conference.

“Russia continues to narrow the window of opportunity for dialogue while simultaneously claiming it is ready for it. If it continues to act in the same manner, we, as NATO allies, will impose serious sanctions against Russia. We have prepared a package of measures that will be significant,” she stated.

Harris specified that the sanctions will target Russian financial institutions as well as key sectors of the economy and industry, which will deliver a significant blow to the Russian economy.
