VIDEO: 18-Year-Old Assaults 2 Police Officers in Moscow Subway and Flees
In the Moscow subway station Tulsakaya, a scuffle broke out involving young individuals and police officers who were attempting to apprehend them. Last night, law enforcement officials stopped 21-year-old Saidarkham Khamroev to check his documents. He refused to answer the officers' questions or present any identification.
The situation escalated when 18-year-old Umar Rasuliyonzoda saw that two police officers were trying to restore order to the unruly individual. He intervened and began hitting the officers before quickly fleeing the scene.
Law enforcement immediately identified the fleeing suspect and arrested him shortly afterwards. A trial is expected to take place soon, and it is likely that the young individuals involved will face imprisonment.
