VIDEO: Mother and Daughter Assaulted; Governor Takes Personal Control Over Azerbaijani Hooligans Case

The Sverdlovsk governor has taken personal control of the case involving Azerbaijani thugs. "Other countries may have their own laws, but we live in Russia, and here the laws are Russian. Any minor or adult engaging in such behavior will face criminal responsibility. There will be no other laws here. If they don’t like it, they shouldn't live in our country. I urge anyone who has been a victim of this gang's actions to contact me directly; I will take care of this issue," the governor wrote.

He also noted that Azerbaijani teenagers have been a nightmare for local residents for a long time, constantly harassing girls and stealing phones; they are recognized at the police station.

It is recalled that in Yekaterinburg, Azerbaijani migrants assaulted a 20-year-old girl and her mother. The incident happened on the evening of February 11 on Pehotintsev Street. It all started with an argument on the bus, where five individuals attacked the girl and slapped her. The girl called her mother and asked her to pick her up at the bus stop. At the bus stop, the young men assaulted the women and beat them.

It has been reported that the woman broke her leg and requires surgery. Only one of the five assailants has been arrested. A criminal case has been opened against him under Article 112 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing medium severity harm to health). The investigation is ongoing.

According to sources, the assailant is an Azerbaijani boy who is in Russia on a student visa. He claimed that he had a conflict with the girl on the bus, and when the mother started recording him on her phone at the bus stop, he received the repercussions for that, the teenager said.
