Current Situation on Armenia's Roads
The Minister of Emergency Situations reports that there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the territory of Armenia.
The roads from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to the Amberd Fortress and the Kary Lake are closed, as well as the Vardenyats Pass for trucks with trailers.
In the Vayots Dzor region, snow is present in the city of Jermuk and in the Saravan-Zanger section.
The Agvani-Halidzor road in the Syunik region is difficult to navigate, while there are patches of black ice in the Dilijan winding roads of the Tavush region.
Fog is reported on the Goris-Kapan road in the Syunik region.
As for the Lars situation, according to information from the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia's North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all vehicles.
Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
