Car Catches Fire in Artsakh: One Injured
On February 17, at 5:24 PM, the Martuni regional emergency service center received a report of a fire in the Abrikavan neighborhood of Martuni city. Preliminary information indicates that a resident of Martuni city (born in 1978), while driving an 'Opel Astra' vehicle, left the roadway and collided with an iron pole, resulting in a fire. One person was injured and was transferred to the Martuni regional medical facility by passing motorists. This information was reported by the State Emergency Situations Service of Artsakh.
Upon receiving the alert, one fire and rescue crew from the Martuni regional emergency response unit was dispatched to the scene. The fire was isolated by 5:30 PM and completely extinguished by 5:40 PM.
According to preliminary data, the engine compartment of the 'Opel Astra' vehicle owned by a resident of Martuni city (born in 1983) was burned, along with partial damage to the windshield. An investigation is being conducted by the relevant authorities.
