Prosecutors Leaving the System: 'Zhoghovurd'

'Zhoghovurd' newspaper reports that prosecutors from the General Prosecutor's Office are looking to leave the system to become judges. According to information obtained by 'Zhoghovurd,' many prosecutors have also applied to work in the newly established Anti-Corruption Court.

Specifically, on September 3, 2020, Tigran Davtyan, appointed as a prosecutor in the Asset Recovery Division of the General Prosecutor's Office, has submitted an application to transfer to the newly established court.

However, he is not the only one; Surik Khachatryan, the Deputy Head of the Division for Crimes Against the Person at the General Prosecutor's Office, has also expressed a desire to move to the new court.
