Possibilities for the Opening of the Railway Are Visible: Deputy Prime Minister
Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan has announced that the possibilities for unblocking transportation and economic ties in the region, particularly the opening of the railway, are visible. This was reported by 1Lurer.am.
According to him, there are currently no new agreements regarding the operation of the railway, but there must be a written document before the process begins.
“Our ultimate goal is to have a scenario of unblocking that brings stability to the region and allows the infrastructures to gain regional significance. We have already had 8-9 meetings within the framework of the trilateral working group, and yes, discussions have indeed taken place. Two expert subgroups have been active. The possibilities for the opening of the railway have been specifically discussed, and of course, it will be under customs and border control,” he stated.
