Mayor Struggles to Part Ways with Last Appointee of Marutyan: 'Hraparak'

The newspaper 'Hraparak' reports that the Mayor of Yerevan, more accurately described as the 'English Queen' of the city hall, Hrachya Sargsyan, is struggling to part ways with the last appointee of former mayor Marutyan, Secretary of the Staff Davit Hambaryan.

Sargsyan urged him to submit a resignation, but Hambaryan remains steadfast, as he is a community service worker protected by law and cannot be dismissed against his will. However, the secretary is involved in the process of signing numerous documents and is aware of all the abuses, making him someone the mayor should be able to rely on.

Hambaryan has had some of his powers stripped away, with the authority over staffing and the secretary's office taken from him.
