Karen Vrtanesyan: 'By the way, do you remember who allowed soldiers to keep smartphones?'
Karen Vrtanesyan, the coordinator of the specialized site 'RazmInfo', has made a statement on his Facebook page. Specifically, he wrote:
'I would like to address a few topics related to security and defense, which have been widely discussed in recent days.
The arrest of 19 military personnel (both current and former) on charges of national treason. I must emphasize that I have many questions, and my trust in the NSS's statements has long been zero. Nevertheless, there is nothing extraordinary in the fact that the enemy has attempted and will constantly continue to try to recruit soldiers and, in general, residents of Armenia.
To counter this at least partially, continuous, systematic, and multifaceted actions are needed. Starting from developing media literacy to finally removing soldiers from social networks.
By the way, do you remember who allowed soldiers to keep smartphones? Judging by today’s video (if the recordings are not fake), it appears that some of the arrested individuals have continued to keep voice messages exchanged with Azerbaijanis on their phones for the 1.5 years since the war. Have you thought about what kind of 'plinth level' of intellectual development a person must have to not eliminate such dangerous indicators from their phone?
I repeat: if everything is not staged or fabricated.
The commission on concealing the mistakes and crimes of the 44-day war has been created. If we are serious, one must not be naive but rather utterly foolish to sincerely believe that the authorities will objectively investigate their own mistakes and crimes.
I am confident that the commission will be used as a political tool to blame certain figures in the military and previous governments.'
