Former High-Ranking Azerbaijani Army Officer Arrested
A former high-ranking officer of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces has been arrested in Azerbaijan. According to Sputnik Azerbaijan, the individual in question is Jalil Kyazimov, the former head of the financial service of the Azerbaijani Air Force.
The Baku Military Court has decided to detain Colonel Kyazimov for four months, as reported. He is accused of embezzling over one million manats (approximately 600,000 USD).
