The former Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan is set to be appointed as the Deputy Mayor of Yerevan in the near future. This information has been actively circulating through Telegram channels and the press.

Auroranews.am attempted to reach Tigran Avinyan, but he did not respond to calls. We then contacted the press office of the Yerevan Municipality. They stated that there is no official document or directive regarding this matter.

During the Yerevan Council meeting on February 8, new deputies were already appointed: Gevorg Simonian, Suren Grigoryan, and Stepan Machanyan. However, there is no information circulating in the press office about Tigran Avinyan's appointment, and it remains unclear.
