Fog and Black Ice: Road Conditions

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads within the territory of Armenia.

The roads from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to the Amberd fortress and Lake Kari are closed.

The Vardenyats Pass and the Saravan-Zanger road are difficult for trucks with trailers (chains are required).

Fog has been reported on the Goris-Kapan road in the Syunik region.

On the Agvani-Halidzor road in the Syunik region (difficult to navigate), there are patches of black ice.

Regarding Larsi, as per information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department and the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry’s North Ossetia crisis management center, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is open for all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to use winter tires exclusively.
