Fog in the Goris and Dilijan Loops: Current Road Conditions

The Road Department Foundation informs that as of February 14 at 20:00, light snow is falling in the Tumanyan region. There are patches of black ice on the highways in the Ashotsk region and along the Tatev-Kashuni highway.

Fog is present in the Jambarak, Goris, and Dilijan loops, with visibility reduced to 60-80 meters. In the Meghri mountain pass, dense fog has reduced visibility to 30 meters. The Vardenyats Pass is difficult to traverse for vehicles with trailers. Drivers of such vehicles are advised to use chains when traveling through the Vardenyats Pass.

Road construction workers are engaged in clearing and treating the roads with salt and sand. All international and national highways are open.

To avoid accidents, incidents, and traffic jams, drivers are advised to use winter tires.
