Emergency Incident in Yerevan: Firework Explosive Device Detonates in 11-Year-Old Boy's Hand

On February 13, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. In the evening, while on duty on Abovyan Street, police patrol officers were approached by a woman and a man who requested assistance to escort them to the "Saint Astvatsamayr" Medical Center.

Gevorgyan transported the couple, who are confirmed to be married, along with their 11-year-old son in their service vehicle to the medical facility, where doctors provided necessary care for the child.

According to eyewitness reports, the child sustained serious injuries. He accidentally detonated a firework explosive device in his hand, resulting in extensive damage to his wrist. After the incident, the child's parents attempted to take him to the hospital themselves, but due to the urgency of the situation, they requested help from the patrol officers.
