Video: Residents of Gyumri Take to the Streets After Tremors

Residents of Gyumri have taken to the streets following tremors. According to a reporter from Sputnik Armenia at the scene, some areas are still without electricity.

The city has survived the devastating earthquake of December 7, 1988, and residents tend to leave their homes at the slightest sign of danger.

The head of the Department of Media and Public Relations at the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ani Baghdasaryan, posted on her Facebook page that there have been no collapses or damages from the earthquake. “Please follow the official news sources,” she wrote.
