British Military Instructors to Leave Ukraine
British military instructors, who were sent to Ukraine to train local forces on handling anti-tank guided missiles supplied by London, will begin to leave the republic on February 12-13. This was announced on Saturday by the UK’s Deputy Defense Secretary James Heappey, as reported by TASS.
“They will all be extracted. There will be no British military personnel in Ukraine in the event of conflict,” he stated in an interview with the BBC Broadcasting Corporation.
When asked by a journalist when British military instructors are leaving Ukraine, Heappey added, “they are leaving over the weekend.”
