2-Month-Old Boy with Severe Respiratory Issues Saved: What Happened Last Night

On February 9, an extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 02:15, officers Avetik Dallakyan and Levon Mkrtchyan from the patrol service of the Yerevan unit noticed a GAZ 3110 vehicle speeding on Isakov Avenue while on duty.

The officers stopped the vehicle, from which two women exited and explained that they were in a hurry because a 2-month-old boy inside the car was suffering from severe respiratory issues. They were trying to rush him to the Arabkir Medical Center.

The patrolmen helped transport the child in their police car to the Arabkir Medical Center, where it was possible to save the boy's life. According to shamshyan.com, one of the women was the child's mother, and the other was the grandmother.

We received information from the Arabkir Medical Center stating, “It was fortunate that the child was brought to the hospital quickly; otherwise, his condition would have deteriorated further. We can now confidently say that the boy's life is not in danger. However, he will need to remain under medical supervision for a few days.”
