VIDEO: Putin and Macron Meet

Russian President Vladimir Putin told French President Emmanuel Macron that Russia and France share common concerns regarding security issues.

“I want to thank Paris for participating in the resolution of this issue. I see how much effort Macron is putting into addressing the Ukrainian crisis and other security challenges. I am glad to have the opportunity to personally discuss ideas on this matter,” he said.

Macron, for his part, emphasized the necessity for everyone to take responsibility regarding security issues and the importance of dialogue.

It should be noted that negotiations are currently ongoing. A press conference will be held following the meeting between Putin and Macron.
