Armenian Side Has Not Taken Any Unilateral Commitment Regarding the Fate of the Missing, Says Foreign Ministry Spokesperson
The Armenian side has not accepted any unilateral obligations regarding the fate of the missing, as stated by Vahan Hunanian, spokesperson for the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in an interview with Azatutyun.
“Both in the first and the second Artsakh wars, the Armenian side has missing persons. We prioritize the disclosure of the fates of the missing individuals. In this regard, the Armenian side has not taken any unilateral commitments,” he specifically mentioned.
Azerbaijan, while returning 8 Armenian prisoners today, announced that it expects to receive information about Azerbaijani servicemen and civilians who were reportedly killed during the first Nagorno-Karabakh war and allegedly buried in fraternal cemeteries, as well as about the locations of such mass graves.
