US Estimates Casualties from Russian Invasion of Ukraine: Reuters

According to US assessments, casualties in Ukraine during a Russian invasion could reach up to 25,000 soldiers and up to 50,000 civilians, reports Reuters.

In total, 85,000 people could be killed or injured.

Washington estimates that between 3,000 and 10,000 Russian soldiers could die.

The Russian invasion is expected to lead to the fall of Kyiv within 72 hours, stated General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, as reported by Fox News, citing congressional sources.

The Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN described these figures as “madness.”
