Canada Sends Aircraft to Ukraine with New Weapons Shipment
Canada has sent a military transport aircraft to Ukraine carrying a new batch of non-lethal weapons. This was announced by the country's Ministry of National Defence. The department emphasized that Ottawa supports Ukraine's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independence.
The Royal Canadian Air Force’s C-177 Globemaster took off from Trenton Air Force Base, carrying personal protective equipment, reconnaissance tools, and surveillance devices. Several specialists have also arrived in Ukraine.
Earlier, Ottawa announced that Canadian military instructors would remain in Ukraine until 2025 as part of Operation Unifier. Additionally, the mission's composition will expand over time, increasing from 200 to 400 personnel.
