Zelensky Agrees to Meet with Vladimir Putin: Details

The President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, has agreed to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Turkey, announced Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Earlier, during discussions in Kyiv with his Ukrainian counterpart, Erdoğan reiterated that Ankara is ready to host a meeting between the leaders of Russia and Ukraine. Turkey's official spokesperson, Ibrahim Kalin, had previously stated that Erdoğan invited Presidents Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky to discuss and resolve their differences.

Additionally, Turkey is prepared to facilitate a meeting in the “Minsk” format, as indicated by Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu. “I once again express my readiness to host the leaders of Russia and Ukraine,” Erdoğan stated.
