Vaccination of Minors Under 12 Requires Different Dosage, Says Georgian Health Minister

The Deputy Minister of Health of Georgia, Tamar Gabuniya, has addressed the issue of vaccination for minors, stating that children under 12 need to be vaccinated with a different dosage. This was reported by Aliq Media.

“The World Health Organization aims to vaccinate 70% of the general population by July. Accordingly, we must follow suit, and our upcoming plans include continuing vaccinations with booster doses and vaccinating children under 12 with a different dosage. We have preliminary discussions with manufacturers on this matter,” stated the Deputy Minister.

Gabuniya added that programs to encourage vaccination will continue to operate for the targeted group of older citizens.
