Soldier Vle Feroyan is Back Home
The conscript soldier Vle Feroyan, who voluntarily left the military unit in Kapan, has established contact with his relatives and is now at home. This was reported to Tert.am by the soldier's grandmother, Rosa Feroyan.
She mentioned that her grandson spent his time in nearby villages around Kapan. “He approached people, asked for a phone, called me, took a taxi, and came home. We welcomed him. We informed that he is already home,” she said, adding that Vle Feroyan is set to report to the Military Police tomorrow.
Rosa Feroyan noted that they have set a crucial condition: the soldier should not return to the same military unit in Kapan, as otherwise he might be tortured again. “He doesn’t see a problem and is determined to return to service; the important thing is that it should be a different unit. They promised that he would not be taken to that unit again,” Rosa said.
Regarding his health condition, the soldier's grandmother mentioned that he has injuries to his legs. “His mood is as it should be, he is in a difficult state — hungry, thirsty, and cold,” she said.
