Biden Discusses Sending Over 3000 Troops to Europe

U.S. President Joe Biden has announced that his decision to deploy more than 3000 troops to Europe aligns with NATO's principle of collective defense. This was reported by RBK.

"We assure our NATO allies in Eastern Europe that we stand by them, and that Article 5 is our sacred obligation," CNN quoted the president's remarks.

According to Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty signed in Washington in 1949, if one NATO member country is attacked, the other member countries will regard it as aggression against all NATO countries and must provide assistance.
