VIDEO: Two Residents of Norashen Detained with a ZIL Truck

On January 27, operational information regarding illegal drug trafficking was received by the Arabkir division of the police. The Arabkir police acted on this intelligence, cooperating with their colleagues from the Artashat division.

On the same day, two residents of the Armavir region, aged 76 and 51, were brought to the Artashat division in a ZIL cargo truck from the village of Norashen. During a personal search of the 76-year-old man, two packages resembling marijuana were found, while a search of the vehicle revealed a glass container with a similar substance weighing 320 grams.

According to the 76-year-old, the substances found are drugs made from cannabis. An expert examination has been appointed. The circumstances are being clarified.
