How Many Schools Have Transitioned to Remote Learning: Details
In Armenia, the season of acute respiratory diseases continues, with the number of citizens infected with coronavirus rising. Auroranews has learned that several schools in the Republic have transitioned to remote learning in order to break the chain of infection.
The Ministry of Education and Science informed us that this involves 20 schools, 7 of which are located in the regions: two in Vanadzor, and one each in Nor Hachn, Armavir, Sevan, Jermuk, and Abovyan. The remaining 13 schools are based in Yerevan.
Earlier, Auroranews had spoken with the press secretary of the Minister of Health, Hripsime Khachatryan, to understand whether the Ministry of Health is planning to approach the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports with a proposal to conduct classes remotely.
