The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the territory of Armenia. The roads from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station to Amberd Fortress and to Lake Kari in the Aragatsotn region are closed due to snowdrifts. The road from Tsaghkashat to Kuchak in the Aragatsotn region is impassable because of the snowdrifts.
In the Syunik region, there are isolated spots of black ice on the roads. Snow has fallen in the cities of Hrazdan and Charentsavan in the Kotayk region.
Regarding the Lars situation, information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Management Department and the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Emergency Situations’ crisis management center for North Ossetia states that the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed for heavy vehicles.
