Method for Gaining 'Super Immunity' Against Coronavirus Revealed
Scientists have disclosed a method for acquiring 'super immunity' against the coronavirus. This was reported by Business Insider, citing a study conducted by researchers from the Oregon Health and Science University.
It is possible to achieve 'super immunity' against the coronavirus if patients who have overcome the Omicron variant are vaccinated. According to the scientists, this will enhance the body's additional protection against future strains of COVID-19. They noted that patients infected with one strain of the coronavirus and simultaneously vaccinated have experienced lower rates of infection from the Delta variant.
“Not only does the level of antibodies increase, but the ability to cross-neutralize different variants significantly rises,” said one of the authors of the American study, Fikadu Tafesse.
