Kremlin Responds: 'London’s Attack on Russian Business Implies Retaliatory Measures'

Russia will retaliate against sanctions targeting Russian businesses and the confiscation of Russian entrepreneurs’ assets if Great Britain takes such steps. This was stated by Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, as reported by RBC.

“An attack by a separate country on Russian businesses certainly implies retaliatory measures, which will be shaped solely based on our own interests,” Peskov said.

It is worth noting that in an interview with Sky News, UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss mentioned that they are preparing to expand sanctions against Russia in connection with the situation surrounding Ukraine.
