Identities of Gas Poisoning Victims Revealed in Aparan
The identities of the victims found dead in a residence in the town of Aparan, Aragatsotn Province, on January 27 have been established by the police division in Aparan and the regional investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
According to shamshyan.com, the deceased have been identified as 45-year-old Karine H. found near the entrance of the apartment, and 42-year-old Miro B., a citizen of the Republic of Georgia, discovered in the bathroom.
It has also been determined that they died from carbon monoxide poisoning.
Earlier, it was reported that a tragic incident occurred in Aragatsotn Province on January 27. Around 17:10, the emergency situations ministry's 911 crisis management center received a call reporting that residents of an apartment in building 11 on Mashtots Street in Aparan were not responding to knocks and phone calls.
As reported by a photojournalist, one firefighting unit from the Disaster Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations quickly arrived at the scene. Upon opening the door, rescuers found the man in the bathroom and the woman's body near the bathroom door.
