Blocked and Difficult Roads, Black Ice: Situation in the Republic

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that there are blocked and difficult-to-navigate roads within the territory of Armenia.

The roads from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to the Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari are closed.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trailers and difficult to navigate for other vehicles.

In the Syunik region, there are patches of black ice on the roads.

Regarding Larsi, according to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Management Department and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepanstminda-Larsi road is open for all types of vehicles.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
