4125 athletes subjected to doping tests; banned substances detected
The International Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has released a report indicating that 4125 athletes underwent doping tests during the Tokyo Summer Olympics. The Armenian National Olympic Committee (ANOC) has reported that a total of 2724 athletes were tested once, while 1401 athletes underwent multiple tests.
In total, 35.4% of the participants were tested for the presence of banned substances. Among them, ten athletes were found to have prohibited substances in their bodies.
