NATO Conducts Exercises in Estonia

The annual Winter Camp winter exercises, involving NATO's combat group stationed in Estonia, commenced on Saturday. This was reported by the TASS news agency, citing the country's defense forces' general staff.

The drills will include participation from approximately 1,400 troops from the United Kingdom, France, and Estonia. The maneuvers will take place from January 29 to February 6.

“The exercises aimed at countering a simulated adversary in winter conditions provide a great opportunity to gain invaluable experience,” stated Colonel Andrus Merilon, commander of the First Infantry Brigade of the Defense Forces.

This year's exercises will involve armored vehicles, infantry, and engineering units.
