Rescuers Discover and Evacuate Another Armenian Soldier's Remains

During the search operations for the remains (fragments) of fallen and missing soldiers and civilians from the military actions of 2020, a rescue team carried out work today in the Varanda (Fizuli) region. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Artsakh Republic.

Rescuers have discovered and evacuated the remains of another Armenian soldier (a participant in the military actions, reservist, or volunteer). His identity will be confirmed after a forensic examination.

As a reminder, since November 13, 2020, a total of 1,709 remains have been confirmed as a result of search operations and body exchanges with the Azerbaijani side.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations will provide additional information about the upcoming directions and results of search operations.
