Police of Artsakh Reports on Altercation Involving Samvel Babayan's Son

In recent days, information has been circulating on social media regarding the alleged violence exercised by the son of Samvel Babayan and his associates against Artsakh citizen Arthur Osipyan. This was reported by the Police of Artsakh.

"It is noted that a conflict occurred between the son of Samvel Babayan and the well-known activist in Artsakh, Arthur Osipyan, which then escalated into an altercation. Law enforcement agencies have not yet taken serious measures, awaiting the final decision of the President of Artsakh. The Police of Artsakh informs that on January 23 at 18:55, a call was received from a citizen reporting that a quarrel had occurred on Teryan Street in Stepanakert. The police immediately registered the information in the log of reports on crimes and incidents, and subsequently conducted checks in accordance with established procedures. As a result, police officers met with both parties, clarified the situation, and suggested that a report about the crime be filed; however, both parties categorically refused, denying the information about the altercation," the statement from the Police of Artsakh's Facebook post reads.
