EU to Request Azerbaijan to Increase Gas Supplies to Europe

The European Union will hold talks with Azerbaijan next week to discuss the potential increase in gas supplies to Europe via the Trans Adriatic Pipeline. This information comes from the Financial Times, citing its sources.

According to their reports, next week, EU Energy Commissioner Kadri Simson will visit Baku, where she will meet with the country's ministers responsible for energy and natural resources.

“We expect the discussions to focus on Azerbaijan's role in diversifying gas supplies to Europe,” an EU representative stated.
