Major Car Accident in Yerevan: 5 Injured

Today, January 27, a major car accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 01:40, at the intersection of Nalbandyan and Isahakyan streets, in front of the well-known Joghinstitut, the vehicles driven by local residents collided. A BMW driven by 24-year-old Vahagn Hovhanyan and a Toyota driven by 22-year-old Davit Mkrtchyan were involved in the crash.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan from the scene, the passengers of the Toyota, 25-year-old Garik Adamyan and 26-year-old Gagik Gevorgyan, as well as the passengers of the BMW, 25-year-old Narek Tumanyan and 24-year-old Karen Maghakyan, were transported to the number 1 university hospital, while BMW driver V. Hovhanyan was taken to the Erebuni Medical Center.
